Are you passionate about Video Games, Illustration, 3D Modeling, Animation, Film Making, Robotics, 3D Printing, Circuitry, or STEAM? Are you available on weekdays or weekends remotely for an hour or two in the afternoons?

 

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and talented individuals to work as:

• STEAM Instructors and

• Assistant Instructors

• This is currently a part-time after school position with competitive pay. We are currently hiring staff for our virtual online classes! This is a perfect job for Teachers (any subject/grade), college students, or content experts (filmmakers, programmers, & gamers). No experience is required if you are coachable, but having knowledge of STEAM content,  coding applications or platforms, and the ability to teach virtually with zoom would give you a competitive edge! STEAMPunk Summer Camp Instructor

STEAMPunk Summer camps immerse students in technology-rich curriculum and encourage design thinking and creativity, all the while having fun! ​

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and talented individuals to work as:

• Summer STEAMPunk Instructors

• This is currently a seasonal position with competitive pay. You must be available to work from 8:30-4:30pm Mon-Fri starting June 7-July 23rd. We are currently hiring staff for our camps in Oldham and Jefferson County! This is a perfect job for Teachers (any subject/grade), college students, or content experts (filmmakers, programmers, & gamers). Having knowledge of iMovie, AutoCad (TinkerCad or Morphi App), ScratchJr, GameStar MechanicJr, Bloxels, Virtual Reality, 3D design, Stop Motion Studio, Circuitry and Soldering, Python, and being an Apple Teacher would give you a competitive edge! Duties:

• implement curriculum, and organize lessons/activities.

• Inspire STEAMPunk campers to think critically, creatively, innovatively, and communicate clearly and respectfully. 

• Manage a class size of 10-15 students (most cap out at 10).

• Supervise STEAMPunks closely.

• Clean, Sanitize, and follow CDC Covid Guidelines for cleanliness and social distancing.

• Actively engage and facilitate activities.

• Complete assigned paperwork (rosters, etc)

• Make camp FUN!

Experience:

​

• iPad proficient

• Experience with respective age group applying to instruct.

• Technologically inclined.

• Willing to learn new skills!

 

The classes offered are listed below. Some of the positions are filled, but we invite you to apply to any and all you feel you are uniquely qualified for.  The ability to span multiple age groups is a plus.
